I Miss Home

Eat an E  a day

Is what grandma would say

When I was sick and wanted to play

cards, she said no and my mood turned grey

I will miss going to church with her on Sundays,

Her strong accent, and of course, her tasty cooking

We moved from Guam, but I really wanted to stay

Each year, my family & I travel there in May

I often sit and stare at where I would lay

Spending my weekends in Tumon Bay

Calm waves crashing upon shore

Tourists are crossing the street

Palm trees dancing with the

Warm summer breeze

I think of home

everyday.
